Party Like A Rockstar, Sleep Like A Celebrity

There is a reason Los Cabos has become the ultimate VIP destination. For over a decade celebrities, business executives and other A-list personalities have come to the pristine beaches of Cabo to relax, party and leave all their problems behind.
Since luxury seems to be a Los Cabos trademark, every year resorts exceed themselves to meet the highest expectations and offer their guests an unforgettable experience.
From secluded beaches, rooms with a gorgeous view, restaurants with top chefs, spas, and 5-star bed sheets, these resorts are everything you’ve ever dream of and beyond. If you are searching for a place to stay that will be worth every single penny, here is a list of those you should already book:
GRAND VELAS: To be honest, no one does the all-inclusive sophistication as this hotel does. The architectural design is pretty contemporary, but it has little Mexican details everywhere that transport you into the urbanized culture. The half-moon shaped resort has over 300 suites, all with gorgeous ocean views and private terraces. The only cons are that the beach is non-swimmable, but this is quite common in this area of Los Cabos because the waters can get a bit rough. This isn't a problem for water enthusiasts - the hotel has the most amazing variety of swimming pools some of which are adult-only and others designed just for children. The location is unbeatable, right in between San José del Cabo and Cabo San Lucas, which makes it pretty easy to visit both towns in less than ten minutes and it is just a 30-minute drive away from the airport!
Grand Velas is renowned for its top-notch cuisine and exclusive spa services. You might have heard of Cocina de Autor, their in-house restaurant featured as one of the top gastronomical experiences in Cabo. This is where creative cuisine is designed by Michelin star Chef Sidney Schutte will delight your senses in an 8-course-meal. While you are there also stop at Frida, a traditional Mexican restaurant. Their spa is one thing that won't disappoint, featuring a multi-sensorial journey based on ancestral ingredients, techniques, and rituals.

LAS VENTANAS AL PARAÍSO, A ROSEWOOD RESORT: The literal translation of this hotel’s name is Windows to Paradise, and it could not be more accurate. An oasis where the desert meets the endless ocean will receive you with a couple of cocktails and a beautiful, enormous suite with ocean or golf-course views. The service here is unbeatable from the moment you go in, from personal butlers to a complimentary neck massage, here you will be spoiled! The decoration is quite rustic with elegant and modern touches, everything in wood, stone, and white details that evoke relaxation in heaven. It just feels like a lost and luxurious villa in the middle of the desert.
One of the most amazing things here, without a doubt, is the infinity pool with beachfront views—and even a gorgeous fire pit right by the beach bar where you can spend the afternoon romantically. The gastronomical experience could not be less than everything else, which is why "The Restaurant" offers traditional Baja cuisine, but with a bit of a chic twist, fresh ingredients, and a spectacular menu prepared by Chef Fabrice Guisset. In recent years, Las Ventanas opened a beautiful and exotic restaurant named Arbol that has quickly become an A-list favorite, with an exquisite seafood menu filled with Asian flavors and spices.

ONE&ONLY PALMILLA: This hotel built in 1956 by Abelardo Rodriguez is quite a legend here in Los Cabos. The exclusive hotel has served as an escape for the Mexican president and a vacation home for Hollywood celebrities. Even now as the resort has expanded, it still keeps its exclusive, Mexican charm and amazing attention to detail. Keep an eye out when you're by the pool because you might just run into Gwyneth Paltrow, Jennifer Aniston, Lady Gaga, and other top icons that adore this place!
The 200-room resort has a traditional flare that dives you into authentic Mexico, with white walls, brick ceilings, bright details, palm trees, and palapas everywhere with a contemporary and luxurious touch that takes your breath away. The spa is quite spectacular and so is the food at their in-house restaurant, Agua. Their regionally produced wine, mezcal, and tequila tastings are a must while you stay here, especially their signature mezcal named after the restaurant. Oh! And if that wasn't enough, the ocean over here is one of the few in Los Cabos where you can swim!
Address: Carr Transpeninsular, Tourist Corridor, 23400 San José del Cabo, B.C.S.
WALDORF ASTORIA PEDREGAL: The ingenious location of this 24-acre paradise behind Los Cabos Mountain makes it impossible to enter unless you travel through a private tunnel called Dos Mares. This grand entrance is only the beginning, and the light at the end of the tunnel is a secluded paradise where dreams come true.
The hotel resemblances a colonial village with cream-colored walls, carved wood, and rustic decors, but there is something about the modern and minimalist details that put you in a trance as you walk into the open-air reception. Apparently, heaven has 119 rooms and private casitas all with sophisticated decorations and breathtaking ocean views. opening your window every morning will make you fall in love all over again. The rooms resemble those of a colonial hacienda, but with a luxurious twist. However, the most stunning part of each room is the terrace with a private plunge pool and direct oceanfront views.
There is also an organic spa, infinite pools, a beach club, and a delicious Mexican restaurant called Don Manuel. However, the fan-favorite is the open-air restaurant, El Farallon, tucked right on the cliff of the mountain with astonishing views with an ocean-to-table concept, serving fresh seafood and even a champagne terrace.

THE CAPE, A THOMPSON HOTEL: Right on Monuments Beach, this gorgeous boutique-like hotel seems to meet the perfect harmony between luxury and heaven. The hotel is inspired by the 60s architectural movement in Mexico City, with spotless, modern details everywhere. Every suite combines white aesthetic decorations with leather, iron, and wood touches; all of them offer a private terrace with hammocks and majestic ocean views, with direct sightings into the infamous Arco of Los Cabos.
The beach is ideal for surfers, there are two gorgeous infinity pools, the service is on point; they have one of the best spas in town, and the two open-air bars right by the beach are the perfect place to stop for a unique drink or two.
Of course, such a hotel would be the home to one of the most renowned restaurants in Los Cabos, and Mexico: Manta. Created by the one and only top Mexican chef, Enrique Olvera, where Peruvian, Asian and traditional Mexican flavors come to life in creative dishes that together create an unforgettable gourmet experience.
