MANTA BY ENRIQUE OLVERA
Where the Gulf of California meets the Pacific Ocean, you can find a hidden culinary jewel inside The Cape Hotel. As you open the menu, you understand the elegant, sustainable, and creative concept designed by the renowned Mexican chef, Enrique Olvera, which offers a seafood banquet infused with Mexican, Peruvian and Asian flavors and the freshness of local ingredients. The turquoise ocean views are worth a table on the terrace where a five-course tasting menu and some homemade mezcal cocktails will make you feel just like a top-notch celeb.
WHAT TO ORDER? The octopus anticucho, the Veracruz ceviche, and the fried banana dessert are a must. Black Miso Fish Tacos, cured nopales salad, and grilled avocados are Gwyneth Paltrow’s recommendation on Goop.com.

Embark on a journey between the Japanese and Mexican culture, under the beautiful, high-end creations of Chef Ángel Carbajal; who was mentored by the creator of Spicy Tuna, Chef Masayuki Niikura. This cultural partnership created a magnificent fusion of traditional Japanese recipes with a touch of Mexican seasonings that will upscale your typical sushi into a sea of flavors—plus, fresh fish is caught every day. Rumor has it; George Clooney thinks this restaurant is home to the best sushi in the city!

More than a restaurant, Cocina de Autor is a magnificent experience, one of those restaurants you have to try once in a lifetime. Led by a Two-Michelin-Star Chef, Sidney Schutte, whose name is often accompanied by the term “creative artist” because of his delightful creations. Just like the name of the five-star gastronomical concept suggests, the eight-course menu is filled with signature masterpieces that do not cease to surprise all your senses, as the luxurious atmosphere emerges you into the classical old-Hollywood glamour.
WHAT TO ORDER? Order the eight/ten-course menu, you will not regret it. Do stop before at the bar where you can begin your night with one of the signature cocktails and an appetizer.

Last but not least, this is not your average fancy place to go out for dinner, but a very casual local bar where many celebrities love to go out and party their brains out. A classical Mexican cantina, just like those in the movies, is filled with rustic decorations and local music. The drinks and food here are not only good but also at unbeatable low prices. Who knows, you might just get to party like a true rockstar or meet a few.
WHAT TO ORDER? Nothing beats Mexican food when it comes to drinking and eating. Try the quesadillas, the tacos, or classical wings with tamarind sauce. If you want to drink like a local, ask for a Paloma (tequila with lemon soda) or a Charro Negro (tequila, coke, and lemon) or a Cielo Rojo (beer with tomato and clam juice, lemon, and salsas)
