Experience the amazing beauty of the whales in Cabo San Lucas. Thousands of people flock to this area in hopes of seeing this magical sight. Every January whales begin to appear off the Los Cabos coast.

All different kinds of whales show up in the area. We often see Blue, Grey, Sperm, and Humpback Whales. The whales follow the currents down the Pacific coast looking for an excellent, nutrient-filled spot to give birth. They end up in Cabo San Lucas and give you the opportunity to enjoy some first class whale watching.

You will take one of tour routes on our whale watching tour. You will be heading five miles on either direction of the Cape of Cabo San Lucas and up to five miles from shore depending on the vessel that you are traveling on during your tour.

The Captain of the boat will monitor all of the local radio channels in order to find out where the whales are being sighted. Some days we are able to see 20 whales in a group, together.

You have not seen anything like an adult whale breaching the surface. Whales are able to force up to five tons of their weight, at least 40 feet in the air. This occasionally creates a pseudo-shower of rain that can even create a rainbow along the ocean waters.

The Chaparral is perfect for whale watching because it is fast, small, and able to approach with little to no disturbance to the whales. A larger boat would disturb the whales and could cause them to flee.
