Just a short 2 hour, nonstop flight from the United States border is San José del Cabo International Airport, which is where you will arrive when you fly to Los Cabos.

Located outside of San José del Cabo, the airport is approximately an hour-drive from all the resorts and hotels.

San José del Cabo International Airport serves the following airlines: Alaska Airlines, American Airlines, America West, Continental Airlines, Aero Calafia, Aero California, Aero México and Mexicana.

Some of these airlines offer excellent vacation package tours, including airfare, taxes, airport transfers and accommodations. Charter airlines also provide service the Los Cabos area on a regular basis.

Tips to reduce your cost:

You can get very cheap transportation (plus a little adventure) from Los Cabos Airport to San Jose or Cabo San Lucas or points in between. Walk out of the airport with roll-on luggage. Go right once you hit the road going past the airport. Walk on the left side less than 3/4 of a mile to a 4 line highway crossing your line of approach. Walk to the bus stop on the lane going to your left. The bus comes about every 20 minutes (it is green). It costs 18 peso's to ride it to the end in Cabo San Lucas right beside the Paraiso Mall. Takes about an hour forty five minutes with loads of stops. Cheapest shuttle is 160 peso's so this is a good deal!
