San Jose del Cabo home to a delightful, and somewhat challenging, nine hole public course. The Campo de Golf Fonatur (Fonatur Golf Course), also known as the San Jose del Cabo Municipal Course was designed and funded by the Mexican government. If you are looking for a change of pace from the surrounding championship courses.

The nine hole 2,900 yard course was built by the Mexican government's FONATUR development agency, which is beautifully maintained. It is designed for intermediate and beginning golfers. From humble beginnings at the nine hole Campo de Golf in San Jose del Cabo, in the last decade golf has grown to become the number two attraction in Los Cabos.

Located at Km 32 on the Transpeninsular Highway. This is a great course for families to play in a pleasant atmosphere surrounded by well landscaped residential properties featuring an abundance of multi-hued bougainvilleas.

This nine-hole, par 35 course  is the cheapest of all the local courses and tends to be crowded; it’s good to book in advance as much as possible. The only problem with this course is that it is popular, they don´t take reservations.
