San Jose del Cabo: tip of the Baja California Peninsula

Cabo San Lucas, located at the southernmost tip of the Baja California Peninsula, where stands the Arc, formation of rock that emerged after the water erosion on the huge rocks that emerge from the sea, making it appear wonderful, which monument from the very nature since time immemorial. And when the tide goes down, below the arch opens to look the famous Playa del Amor, reflecting the sun in their soft sand and offering couples fortunate to have found so compelling and unforgettable moments.

Given its important tourist status, to Cabo San Lucas arrived many of the world's most famous cruise ships. San Jose del Cabo, a town near Cabo San Lucas retains an air as peaceful as historic, is the municipal seat of the municipality of genetic Cabos. On the streets of the center is open shops of all kinds, offering together with the urbanization of the place an ideal atmosphere to take long walks. On the outskirts of the village are the only estero of fresh water in the state, bordered by palm trees and bamboo trees, as a prelude to the beach of San Jose del Cabo, a place where bathers can be seen not only enjoying his stay, but hundreds of villagers from leaving early hours aboard pangas to catch fish of the day: family support and art of their craft.

In this area are concentrated large number of resorts, fragmentation newly designed, golf courses and beautiful beaches where you can swim or practice snorkeling. For those tourists who seek a stay sufficiently distant from the people, located in El Corredor the peace of mind, but with the advantage of having near the towns of Cabo San Lucas and San Jose del Cabo for shopping or entertainment in the evenings.

San Jose del Cabo offers visitors a wide array of activities. The six championship golf courses and one municipal course have transformed Los Cabos into a world class golf destination. Other popular activities include horseback riding, ATV tours along the beach or into the mountains, mountain biking and even rock climbing are also gaining in popularity.
