Within a few miles of the Los Cabos resorts you can be at 6,000 feet in the sub -alpine meadow of La Laguna. If you prefer a more challenging hiking experience, there are three east to west canyons that cross the spine of the mountain range that offer hearty nature lovers the opportunity to hike through many varied ecosystems.
Hiking is the best from November to June, when the rainy season has ended and temperatures are cool. This rugged, beautiful part of the world will reveal fossilized shells, exposed sediments that can date back millions of years, streams and ponds, hot springs, several varieties of plants found only in this area, hundreds of bird species, cave paintings and a lot of wildlife.

Expect to discover ocean fossils, birds, cold pools and hot springs, as well as a place where you will see a Cardon cactus, a palm trees and a pine trees all in the same spot. Just incredible!
